The Department of Physical Education was started in the year 1973. Over the preceding decades Department has established itself as the foremost institution for the study of physical education, exercise science, sport and Yoga in India.

The Department offers a broad range of qualifications and study options, whether it be a Master’s Degree, a Bachelors Degree, a Diploma, Certificate Courses or the opportunity for research to acquire PhD.
