Library at a Glance

In addition to having access to the facilities available at JLN University library , the Institution has its own automated library with reading room having capacity of 100 students and good stock of books, journals, magazines and educational software. Internet facility and Photocopy facility is also available in the library for the staff as well for the students also.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY

The Institute has an AC language lab for providing training in communication skills to all the students enrolled in the institution. It also acts as a platform where learners are groomed for Soft & Interpersonal skills. In language lab teacher trainees use headphones and color mikes for listening and speaking practices.  There are cabins for the learners.

 

COMPUTER LABORATORY

The Institute has a fully equipped and functional Computer Lab with internet facility, Laptops (5), Computers (26) and Visualizer (1). It is used to teach “Pedagogy of Computer Science” and “Critical understanding of ICT” to the students. It enhances the ICT Skills of the students.

HOME SCIENCE LABORATORY

ITTR has a fully equipped and functional Home Science Lab with Microwave, Oven, and Fridge, Utensils for cooking and serving, Induction for cooking also. The laboratory is used to teach Pedagogy of Home Science to the students.

MATHEMATICS LABORATORY

The Institute has a fully equipped and functional Mathematical Laboratory equipped with Measuring and drawing instrument and teaching aids such as chart Models related to geometrical concepts of math to enhance the conceptual understanding of the pupil teachers.

 

PHYSICAL SCIENCE LAB: The Institute has a fully equipped and functional Physical Laboratory equipped with Conical flask, beaker, improvised apparatus relates to physics and chemistry and aids such as working models, charts, flash cards to capture the attention of students and bring efficiency in teaching learning process. It is used to teach the Pedagogy of Physical Science to the students.

 

LIFE SCIENCE LABORATORY: The Institute has a fully equipped and functional Life Science laboratory equipped with Human Skeleton, specimen of animals, beaker, watch glass, spirit lamp, Models of flower, Human organs, Improvised Apparatus, dissection Box and other audio-visual aids of biological Science to enhance the conceptual understanding of pupil teachers. It is used to teach the subject of Biological Science to the students.

GEOGRAPHY LAB: The Institute has a Geography Lab equipped with teaching tables Barometer Tripod chains; Rain gauge and relief map etc. This material is being used by pupil-teacher to understand the conceptual clarity in the subject of Pedagogy of Social Science

 

EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LAB: The Institute has a E.T. Laboratory equipped with Smart board facility, LCD Projector, Television, Wall Screens etc. to bring the efficiency in teaching learning process.

 

OTHER FACILITIES

CONFERENCE ROOM: Institute has a ICT enabled AC Conference room equipped with facilities of Projector, Laptop, Screen, Display Boards, Audio System and comfortable furniture for seating capacity of 100 students.

MULTIPURPOSE HALL: ITTR has a multipurpose hall equipped with display boards, projector, screen and wooden benches for seating capacity of 150 students.

CLASSROOMS: Institute has many classrooms equipped with wooden benches, Green Board, White Board and Display Boards.

GIRLS AND BOYS COMMON ROOM: Institute has separate Girls and Boys Common room with attached toilets, furniture and adjacent to safe drinking water facility.

STAFF ROOM WITH AC FACILITY: Institute has separately both Male and Female staff rooms with attached toilets and Comfortable furniture.

FIRST AID ROOM: ITTR has a first aid room equipped with first aid kit and all other necessary equipments for rest.

HEALTH AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION RESOURCE CENTRE: Health & physical education resource centre provides valuable experience to become an ideal teacher who ought to have a sound mind in a sound body. Health and physical education resource centre is a complete centre for holistic development of students.  Sports equipment (both indoor and outdoor) :

Health instruments for measuring Strength, body weight, basal metabolic rate, muscle mass, mettabolic age, fat free body weight, BMI, protein, skeletal muscle, bone mass, body fat, subcataneous fat. Educational Apparatus for measuring Attention, concentration, motor skill hand eye coordination, stability. Physiopsychological assessment tools measures Mental Health, Emotional Intelligence, Anxiety, Depression And Stress, well-being, Socio Economic Status, academic Stress, social Relationship, Self- Efficacy, Introversion Extroversion, Guidance Needs, Small Family And Population Education, Mental Imaginary.

 

Students of the institution can  also access the university ground, Health Centre, Banks, Employement Bureau, Post Office and Gym and swimming pool.
