Eligibility Conditions:
3-year B.A./B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in all the 3 years and with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.

OR 3-year B.A./B.Sc. Degree with minimum 24 credits in Mathematics and with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.

For 1-Year PG Programme M.Sc. Mathematics:

Eligibility Conditions:
4-Year B.A (Honours)/B.Sc. (Honours) Mathematics or B.A (Honours with Research)/B.Sc. (Honours with Research) Mathematics Degree with at least 80 credits in Mathematics and with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.

OR One year PG Diploma in Mathematics with minimum 40 credits in the concerned subject and with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate, after 3-year Bachelor Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects in all the 3 years.
The 2-year M.Sc. Mathematics program is a comprehensive four-semester program, focusing on pure and applied mathematics. The curriculum, aimed at developing analytical skills, features core courses, electives, practicals, and seminars.

PSO (Programme Specific Outcomes) After successful completion of the programme, a student will be able to:
PSO1 Have deep understanding and knowledge in the core areas of Mathematics and demonstrate understanding and application of the concepts/ theories/ principles/ methods/ techniques in different areas of pure and applied Mathematics.
PSO2 Have capability to read and understand mathematical texts, demonstrate and communicate mathematical knowledge effectively and unambiguously through oral and/ or written expressions and attain skills of computing/ programming/ using software tools/ formulating models.
PSO3 Attain abilities of critical thinking, logical reasoning, investigating problems, analysis, problem solving, application of mathematical methods/techniques, disciplinary knowledge so as to develop skills to solve mathematical problems having applications in other disciplines and/or in the real world.
PSO4 Have strong foundation in basic and applied aspects of Mathematics so as to venture into research in different areas of mathematical sciences, jobs in scientific and various industrial sectors and/or teaching career in Mathematics

PEO1 To create a class of competent and motivated mathematicians having strong foundation in theoretical as well as practical aspects of Mathematics.
PEO2 To stimulate comprehensive as well as focused teaching and learning, problem solving and global outreach and extension activities which will help the students to be good researchers and teachers.
PEO3 To prepare the students to cater to the needs of industry, and academic and research institutions at national and international levels.
PEO4 To achieve peer recognition not only as an individual but also as a team member having specialized up to date  knowledge and expertise to investigate, formulate and analyze the mathematical models in real life situations, so as to compete at global level.
