Kurukshetra University has selected four eminent  scientists of the country for Goyal Prizes, namely Prof. N.K. Mehra (AIIMS, New Delhi) for Applied Sciences, Prof. A. Ajayaghosh (CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvanthipuram) for Chemical Sciences, Prof. Shyam Sundar (BHU, Varanasi) for life Sciences and Prof. Rohini Godbole (IISc, Banglore) for the Physical Sciences.
