Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.)

2Years

(a) Education Qualification: B.Sc. (Physical Education, Health Education & Sports) with at least50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

(b) Physical Efficiency Test: All the eligible candidates will be required to qualify the PET. Thecandidate who qualifies the PET will be allowed to appear in the Entrance Test. Admission will be made on the basis of merit of Entrance Test. The criteria are for PET of M.P.Ed. & B.P.Ed. are as under:

Male:

(a) Total Distance of the Circuit 75 mt. (excluding the length of Long Jump Pit & Width of RiverCrossing).

(b) Long Jump 9 ft 06 inches.

(c) River Crossing 5 times-(6.0 ft width)

(d) Vaulting Horse Height 5.0 ft.

(e) Forward Roll.

(f) Hurdle Height 3.0 ft.

(g) Two Buckets of 10 kg each.

(h) Timings to complete Circuit 33 sec.

Female:

(a) Total Distance of the Circuit 75 mt.(excluding the length of Long Jump Pit & Width of RiverCrossing).

(b) Long Jump 7 ft 06 inches.

(c) River crossing 5 times-(4.0 ft width)

(d) Vaulting Horse Height 4.0 ft.

(e) Forward Roll.

(f) Hurdle Height 2.6 ft.

(g) Two Buckets of 5 kg each.

(h) Timings to complete circuit 35 seconds.

The description of the placement of obstacles:

(a) Distance from Starting Line to Long Jump – 12m.

(b) Distance from Long Jump to River Crossing-10m.

(c) Distance from River Crossing to Vaulting Horse -9m.

(d) Distance from Vaulting Horse to Front Roll-7m.

(e) Distance from Front Roll to Hurdle-15m.

(f) Distance from Hurdle to Buckets-10m.

(g) Distance from Buckets to Finish Line -12m.

Note-2: Married female selected candidates will have to submit a certificate from RMO/MO of theUniversity Health Centre that she is not in family way, alongwith an undertaking that if during thecourse of study, it is found that she is in family way, her admission would be liable to be cancelled IPSO-FACTO and all dues paid by her shall be forfeited.

Master of Arts in. Yoga (NEP)

(2 Year)

Eligibility Conditions: Bachelor Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate from

Kurukshetra University or any other recognized University as equivalent thereto.

(1 Year)

4 -years Bachelor Degree Honours/Honours with Research) in Yogawith at least 80 credits and 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate.

OR

1-year PG Diploma in Yoga with at least 40 credits and 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in

aggregate

Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga

(NEP)

(1 Year)

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from KUK or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in aggregate.

Note : (i) The minimum eligibility condition of the 45% marks in the qualifying examination can be

relaxed by 5% in case who have won position in Yoga at the Inter-Varsity/ National levels.

(ii) Candidates having compartment in the qualifying examination shall not be allowed admission in

Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Course even provisionally.

(iii) Married female selected candidates will have to submit a certificate from RMO/MO of the

University Health Centre that she is not in family way, alongwith an undertaking that if during the

course of study, it is found that she is in family way, her admission would be liable to be cancelled
