Centre for Training, Internships and Employment (Erstwhile- Placement Cell)

Aims and Objectives:

Kurukshetra University Centre for Training, Internships and Employment (KUCTIE) has been established for integrating the class room and practical learning effectively. It has replaced the Placement Cell and will have larger scope matching with the vision and mission of the university. The Centre will work in tandem with departments/institutes of the university covering the following activities under its scope:

1. Guidance and facilitation of university students for training and placement through departments/institutes.
2. Organize campus placement drives.
3. Career counseling for university students.
4. Arrange and coordinate the campus visits of industry experts/professionals for various departments/institutes, and also students’ visits to industry/corporate organizations.
5. Organize the lectures/discussions by internal faculty, senior management practitioners, and other expert/consultants on popular themes of interest to all such as time management, personality development, challenges of placement, communication and confidence building, latest business and industry trends, international business scenario, etc.
6. Liaison with the various government/private agencies for augmenting training and employment related activities.
7. Organize programmes related with self-employment and entrepreneurship development for the university students.
