Brief Profile:
Presently working as Dean Faculty of Commerce & Management, Prof. Neelam Rani has more than thirty three years of teaching and research experience to her credit. After serving DAV College for Girls, Yamuna Nagar for a period of four years, she joined Department of Commerce, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 1995. Her area of interest is Accounting, Finance and International Business. Seventeen Ph.Ds have been successfully awarded under her supervision. She has published more than fifty research papers in reputed International & national Journals, and contributed chapter in Edited Books. She has completed University Grants Commission funded Major Research Project entitled, “Exchange Rate Fluctuations and Indian External Sector- A Study of Post Reforms Period.” She has been Coordinator, and Co-coordinator, University Grants Commission DRS-SAP, Department of Commerce, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She is member of Member of Kurukshetra University Court, University Executive Council, Member of Academic Council, Member Investment Committee, Member Finance Committee, Member Board of Residents, Health & Discipline, Member Proctorial Board and Member University Admission Committee.
She is the member of University Court of other state universities also. She has organized National Seminars/Workshops in the field of Commerce and Gender Sensitivity. She acted as Key Note Speaker / Resource Person/ Chairperson of the Technical Session of various National Seminars. She Has been Chairperson, Internal Complaints Committee against Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), Kurukshetra University for two years. She is the Chairperson / Nominated Member of ICCASH of other state universities. She has been nominated /appointed as member of Board of Studies, Member of Academic & Administrative Audit of other universities. She also rendered her services as Chairperson, Department of Commerce, Chairperson, and Department of Tourism & Hotel Management of the university. She acted as Chief Warden (W), Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
